Impact Austin's Equity and Health & Well-Being Grant Review Committees (GRCs) have named two finalists each for fall funding. All four finalists will receive an Impact Austin grant at our November 14 Town Hall Meeting.
The fall grant review process kicked off with 66 applications for funding. GRCs chose the 11 strongest for deep-dive review in subcommittees. From there, three nonprofits in each focus area were selected for site visits. In this week's last meetings, GRCs named four finalists that will receive Impact Austin grants.

THE PROCESS MOVING FORWARD
Members in good standing will be qualified to vote on specific allocations for fall grants. Join, renew, or initiate membership payments by October 27 in order to receive finalist packets and voting instructions. The finalist receiving the most member votes between Oct 31 - Nov 9 will receive the application grant amount $63,400. The other finalists will be awarded $15,800 as an unrestricted grant. Specific allocations will be kept confidential until Town Hall Meeting.
During the reception portion of the the Town Hall Meeting, members and guests will have ample opportunity to meet our grant finalists. That night we will celebrate our newest Community Partners and $158,400 in new grants.

Thank you to the 45 Impact Austin GRC members and the entire Grants Committee facilitating the fall grant cycle. The next opportunity to serve on a GRC will open on January 12, 2024.
