AUSTIN, TEXAS - April 28, 2025

The 59 members of Girls Giving Grants (g3) voted to select Saint Louise House as their 2025 grantee. This year's grant of $6,500 is a testament to g3's ongoing commitment to uplifting and empowering the youth in our community. Since its inception in 2006, g3 has contributed a remarkable $130,600 through 21 grants to 19 nonprofits, making a tangible difference in the lives of countless youth in Greater Austin.
Saint Louise House is dedicated to the success of women and their children moving from homelessness to healthy independent lives. They strive to empower women and their children to overcome homelessness for generations to come. Their proven program provides stable housing and wraparound services with highly-individualized support that fosters education, financial literacy, strong family relationships and healthy living, leading to a lifetime of self-sufficiency.

Faith Barnard of Saint Louise House attended g3's April 27 meeting to receive their grant award. She commented, “This grant is going to support child-centered case management so that moms have the time, space, and support to focus on each of their children’s needs. It will also support activities for children – summer camps for children, participation in extracurricular activities and activities for children organized by Saint Louise House.”

Meredith McCann, 2024-2025 President of Girls Giving Grants applauds the g3 choice of Community Partner. “As this year's President, I’m incredibly proud that our 2025 grant will support the impactful work of Saint Louise House. Their commitment to empowering women and children experiencing homelessness through long-term housing and wraparound support services deeply resonated with our members, myself included. After months of thoughtful research, deliberation, and an inspiring site visit, we felt confident that this grant will make a lasting difference in the Austin community. G3 is incredibly excited to be working with Saint Louise House, and we’re honored to contribute to such a dedicated and compassionate organization that is creating pathways to stability and independence for families who need it most.”
