Annual Meeting is Impact Austin's party of the year! It's our best-attended Signature Event and the culmination of the year's work, accomplishments, and community impact. So much to celebrate! Need even more incentives? Here are the Top 9 reasons you'll want to be there! Registration is open until June 4.
The venue - In 2024 we met for the first time at the Austin Central Library's Special Events Center. We were wowed! The bright and airy space contributed to the celebratory feel. We're back by popular demand! Paid parking is available beneath the library, and more parking venues are nearby. To make things even easier, consider carpooling and ride shares.
The friendships - Your Impact Austin friends will be there, including those you haven't even met! And you can bring a friend or colleague to Annual Meeting for just $10. What a great opportunity to introduce another woman to our collective giving and community impact.
The photos - Annual Meeting is our best source of photos that tell Impact Austin's story. Let our photos celebrate your friendships and your committees! Schedule a photo op in front of our step-and-repeat station or capture some selfies and video and text those to Impact Austin at 512-553-6083. Also, share your social media posts that night, and tag Impact Austin!
The volunteer awards - Our Board of Directors is requesting your nominations for three categories of volunteer awards. Those individuals and the Committee of the Year will be honored at Annual Meeting. Please nominate by May 31.
Girls Giving Grants - Our g3 leaders will attend to celebrate their 2025 grantee Saint Louise House! In addition, Annual Meeting will present the grant outcomes video for g3's 2024 award to Foster Angels of Central Texas. Since g3 formed in 2006, they have awarded $130,600 through 21 grants to 19 nonprofits serving youth in Greater Austin. There's so much to celebrate!
Impact Austin grant finalists - From 5:30-6:15, our six grant finalists will be on hand to meet members, answer questions, and share their fabulous work. You'll learn even more from......
Finalists' video presentations - Before voting in each grant category (Community, Education, Health & Well-Being), you'll watch video presentations from each finalist. These will help to inform your selections - or make the choices even tougher.
Your vote - It matters! Each member will receive Finalist Packets on May 27 with written information on the two finalists in every category. Ideally, every member could attend Annual Meeting for additional information available from the finalists themselves and their video presentations. But, for those unable to attend Annual Meeting, online voting will be open May 27 - June 4. Let your voice be counted as we award $294,000 in 2025 grants.
$9 million - As we award our newest grants, Impact Austin's total grantmaking will surpass $9 million! Thank you! Whether you are a new member, a former member, or a renewing member of Impact Austin, you have made possible $9 million in community impact! And that's why we have 9 Million Reasons to Celebrate at our 2025 Annual Meeting!
