On April 29, 2015, Girls Giving Grants (g3) presented Austin Diaper Bank with a $6,000 grant. Executive Director Beverly Hamilton accepted the award on behalf of the organization at the check ceremony.
This year, twenty-five organizations applied for g3’s grant, and after careful analysis, group presentations, and site visits to the finalists, the girls of g3 chose Austin Diaper Bank as their 2015 Community Partner.
Austin Diaper Bank is an organization dedicated to providing diapers to Austin families in need to strengthen the community as a whole. Austinites young and old need a clean, reliable supply of diapers for a healthy and comfortable quality of life. Austin Diaper Bank will use the g3 grant to raise 250,000 diapers or 33,000 days of diaper changes.
The girls of g3 are proud to celebrate their 10-year anniversary by awarding their grant to such a worthy cause!
