Our guest speaker for this session is MariBen Ramsey and she is an accomplished educator and philanthropist. She has more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, including 20 years with the Austin Community Foundation in which she served in a variety of capacities, most recently as Grants VP and General Counsel. She consults with nonprofits in a variety of areas including governance, strategic planning, fundraising, planned giving, endowment building and coaching. She also works with individuals and families on their philanthropic goals and strategies. MariBen has served on many non profit boards at the local, state, national and international level. She is a former partner with Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody Law Firm.
